C & M Insulation LLC Services
This energy efficient and cost effective form of insulation actually gets a tighter fit than traditional methods of insulation. It has a knack for getting into tight corners and crevices that other forms of insulation find difficult or impossible to reach and when it comes to insulation, the tighter the fit, the better the insulation works. This form of insulation, with its tight fit; make it very energy efficient so it will keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
Radiant barrier is very effective in warmer climates, will not mold or mildew, and carries no change in thermal performance due to compaction, disintegration, or moisture absorption, and its thin sheets take up less space than bulk insulation. If you live in a colder climate, you may want to use this type of insulation along with another type to insure you're getting the most energy efficient solution.
If you have any question concerning insulation, or you would like to schedule a FREE estimate, please don't hesitate to contact us. We will help find the best solutions for you!
Fiberglass batt insulation is one of the most popular forms of insulation, as it tends to be fairly inexpensive and easy to install. Batt insulation is typically used in walls of new construction, crawl spaces, and attics with limited access. If installed properly, batt insulation can be effective, energy efficient and long lasting.

Moisture Control & Foundation Vents
Moisture that becomes trapped in crawl spaces can lead to mold growth and related problems – including structural damage, callbacks and liability issues. The insulation products we use help reduce the presence of one of the key components for mold and mildew growth – moisture – by allowing excess moisture in the crawl space to escape.
When it comes to foundation vents, many homeowners do not realize that their home may have a damaged vent that needs replacing. If we replace the vent, it will insure that pests do not enter your home; thereby keeping your family safer and your insulation undamaged while providing proper ventilation.
Loose Fill Wall Insulation
Loose Fill Wall Insulation can be installed from the outside and inside of home dependent on exterior finish. Brick homes are not good candidates for exterior applications. Interior applications consist of more labor intense installs due to fill hole repairs. Typically exterior installs are the most common used methods of install. Cellulose is the most common type of Loose Fill Wall Insulation used in existing homes. Refer to Exterior and Interior install examples below.
Is the picture on the left what your crawl space looks like? It's time to give C&M Insulation a call so that they can turn your dangerous, energy inefficient crawl space into the picture you see to your right. Crawl spaces are traditionally a source of energy waste. The one to the left has a moisture problem. The Insulation should be removed and replaced in the affected areas. A moisture barrier should be installed to have a clean, moisture free crawlspace as shown on the right.
